Triangle Region joins the "Nurse Hero Club"
The Triangle Region reached their goal of joining the Nurse Hero Club of the NC Ambassadors PAC on April 3. Under Mary Baldwin's leadership, over $1400 was raised in the drawing for a weekend getaway. Barbara Benjamin was the prize winner.

LINKAGES:
A Mentoring Program
NCNA Triangle Region has revived LINKAGES: A Mentoring
Program and
invites you to become a mentor. The program was established
to link the
NCNA member (mentor) with the nursing student (mentee)
for the purpose
of support during transition to nursing role as
a student and as
a new graduate. The program also encourages participation
in
professional nursing organizations, including NCANS (North
Carolina
Association of Nursing Students) and NCNA.
The Commitment is for one academic year or for as long
as both partners
agree. For more information about

If you are interested, please fill out the mentor
section of the data
sharing form and email it to Mentoring,

SCHOLARSHIPS
All
registered nurses who are students in a nursing program
are eligible to apply
for a scholarship from the Triangle Region NCNA. If
the winner of a scholarship is not a member, the cost
of membership for NCNA/ANA will be deducted from the
monetary award with remaining amount being bestowed.
