FirstHealth of the Carolinas School Nurse Program received Hallmarks recognition in April, 2007. FirstHealth School Nurse Program is the first school nurse program in the nation to receive Magnet status. With only ten RNs to work on meeting the requirements, these nurses, with the leadership of Phyllis Magnuson, School Health Manager, successfully navigated both the Magnet and the Hallmarks application processes.
