Halifax Regional Medical Center received Hallmarks recognition in April, 2007.  Halifax Regional was voted the “best place to work in the valley” through the Daily Herald newspaper; with over 800 employees, 150 of them registered nurses. Shantea Connell spear-headed the Hallmarks application process at Halifax; commenting on the support that nursing received from all of the disciplines and specialties within the facility.
