Margaret A. Fitzgerald, DNP, FNP-BC, NP-C, FAANP, CSP, FAAN, DCC, FNAP

A successful entrepreneur, Dr. Margaret A. Fitzgerald is Founder and President of Fitzgerald Health Education Associates, a leading national provider of NP certification and NCLEX-RN preparation and ongoing continuing education for healthcare providers. In her educator role, she has contributed to the advancement of the nursing profession and practice through hundreds of publications and thousands of presentations.

Dr. Fitzgerald authored the AJN Book of the Year award winning textbook, NP Certification Examination and Practice Preparation. She is a tenacious advocate for and dedicated mentor to many well-known NP speakers and leaders. She is Adjunct Associate Professor at Frances Payne Bolton (FPB) School of Nursing, Case Western Reserve University, in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Fitzgerald practices at a federally qualified health center in Lawrence, MA, where for more than 3 decades she has been privileged to provide multi-generation family primary and urgent care.

Gale Adcock

Representative Gale Adcock, RN, MSN, FNP, FAANP, FAAN

Rep. Gale Adcock has been Chief Health Officer at SAS for 25 years, leading a unique model of family practice at the worksite. She says she is as a nurse by grace, a North Carolinian by choice and a politician by necessity. Now in her third term in the NC House, Adcock was the first APRN elected to the North Carolina General Assembly. She is a primary sponsor of HB 185, The SAVE Act. Adcock is adjunct faculty at ECU, UNC-Chapel Hill, Duke and Case Western University. She is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American Academy of Nursing.
