The session is open to any PNP who wishes to increase their knowledge of ANCC’s criteria for approved providers and will help ensure that PNPs are able to effectively lead others within their AP units. The content of the workshop is designed to familiarize new and current Primary Nurse Planners with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and NCNA’s criteria for the establishment or continuation of an Approved Provider Unit. The following will be covered: detailed overview of the ANCC/NCNA criteria (structural capacity, education design process, & quality outcomes), AP processes, and the primary nurse planner’s roles and responsibilities in leading an Approved Provider unit
Attendees will be asked to select whether they are attending the Region Networking portion only, CE portion only, or both upon registration.
All members are welcome to join this event. Guests will be charged $25.00 post event if they wish to earn CE credit.
