When the North Carolina General Assembly convenes for the long session in 2017, three nurses will claim seats in the House of Representatives, and all of them are NCNA members.
Rep. Gale Adcock, D-Wake, won her bid for reelection by garnering 57% of the vote.
Rep. Carla Cunningham, D-Mecklenberg, will also be returning for another term. She ran unopposed.
Donna White, a Johnston County Republican, will begin her first term in office after taking 58% of the vote in her race.
Please join NCNA in congratulating all three for a job well done, and for leading Nursing Forward® in the General Assembly!
