Leadership Academy

Learn and Develop to Better Lead Nursing Forward®

Do you have what it takes to be a leader? One of NCNA’s most popular and successful programs over the last few years has been our Leadership Academy.

The program includes a series of leadership workshops that prompt participants to consider how leadership happens and what perils and possibilities are present as nurses lead themselves, others, and the community. This program empowers nurses to think outside the box while improving their skills as communicators and advocates in professional, civic, and community arenas.

“The Leadership Academy made learning fun in a collegial environment. The skills I obtained will help me to excel not only professionally, but personally. I am a better team member and leader for the experiences the Academy provided, and I have created lasting relationships with nursing professionals across the state. I would strongly encourage others to use this valuable tool in helping to develop their best self!”
