Description

This session explores the importance of violence prevention training for bedside nurses, nurse educators, nurse leaders, and APRNs at an emerging to intermediate level. Simulation-based training enhances nurses’ confidence in managing escalating aggression in the context of a patient experiencing symptoms of psychosis. This evidence-based approach, originally used with pre-licensure nursing students, can also benefit licensed nurses through ongoing education.
