Representative Kanika Brown

Representative Kanika Brown

Representative Kanika Brown has served in the North Carolina House of Representatives since 2023, representing Forsyth County. A healthcare habilitation worker, community activist, and small business owner, she has dedicated her career to serving working families and advocating for stronger communities. Representative Brown has also been a supporter of the nursing profession, serving as a sponsor of the 2025 APRN Full Practice Authority legislation to help strengthen North Carolina's healthcare workforce and improve patient access to care.


Senator Amy Galey

Senator Amy Galey

Senator Amy Galey has served in the North Carolina Senate since 2021, representing Alamance County and surrounding communities. An attorney and former Alamance County Commissioner, she has built her career around public service, economic development, and strengthening North Carolina’s communities. Senator Galey has also been a strong supporter of healthcare access and the nursing profession, serving as a sponsor of the 2025 APRN Full Practice Authority legislation to help expand patient access to care and strengthen the state’s healthcare workforce.


Representative Dennis Riddell

Representative Dennis Riddell

Representative Dennis Riddell has served in the North Carolina House of Representatives since 2013, representing Alamance County. A retired educator and longtime public servant, Rep. Riddell has been a consistent advocate for expanding access to healthcare in North Carolina and has sponsored every version of the state's APRN Full Practice Authority legislation since its introduction. His longstanding partnership with the nursing profession reflects his commitment to strengthening the healthcare workforce and improving patient access to high-quality care across the state.


Representative Donny Lambeth

Representative Donny Lambeth

Representative Donny Lambeth has served in the North Carolina House of Representatives since 2013, representing Forsyth County. A former hospital executive with more than 40 years of healthcare leadership experience, he has been a leading voice on health policy in the General Assembly, serving in key leadership roles on the House Health and Appropriations committees. Representative Lambeth has been a longtime supporter of the nursing profession, sponsoring North Carolina's APRN Full Practice Authority legislation since its introduction in 2017 and working to strengthen the state's healthcare workforce and improve access to patient care.
