The purpose of this session is to present to novice, emerging, or intermediate nurse educators best practice for implementing high-fidelity simulation (HFS) and immersive virtual reality (IVR) scenarios and to present pilot study findings comparing clinical judgment and medication administration competency of first semester nursing students trained with HFS or IVR. Researchers evaluated student competency with summative simulation and their simulation experiences with surveys. |
