Representative Donna White

Representative Donna White has served in the North Carolina House of Representatives since 2017, representing Johnston County and championing healthcare, workforce, and community issues while advancing policies that strengthen the healthcare workforce and expand access to quality care. A registered nurse with more than three decades of clinical experience, she has dedicated her career to improving the health and well-being of North Carolinians.

A longtime ally of the nursing profession, Rep. White is the primary sponsor for the APRN Full Practice Authority House bill and was a key lawmaker in the passage of surgical smoke protections. She has been recognized as NCNA's Legislator of the Year for her leadership and steadfast support.
