Please respect your colleagues by maintaining the “closed” atmosphere. Messages from NCNA discussion groups should not be forwarded to anyone outside of the association. If you receive a message that violates any of the rules below, please contact NCNA headquarters so appropriate action may be taken.
NCNA discussion groups are provided exclusively for the use of NCNA members. Messages posted within these groups are intended for informational purposes only. Any views or opinions expressed belong solely to the author and do not necessarily reflect the views, policies, or positions of NCNA. NCNA assumes no responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any posted content, nor should any message be interpreted as professional advice.
NCNA expressly disclaims all warranties related to information shared within discussion groups—whether posted by NCNA volunteer officers, staff, or members—including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Under no circumstances shall NCNA be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, loss of data, profits, or use) arising from reliance on or use of content posted in these groups.
Members are prohibited from posting defamatory, abusive, profane, threatening, offensive, or illegal materials. Additionally, copyrighted materials may not be shared without appropriate authorization. By posting content, members affirm that they own the copyright to such material or have secured the necessary permissions, and they grant NCNA a nonexclusive right to display, publish, distribute, transmit, and use the material as appropriate.
While NCNA does not exercise editorial control over messages, all discussion groups are monitored for inappropriate content. When a violation is identified, NCNA will take appropriate action, which may include removal of content or termination of posting privileges.
NCNA reserves the right to suspend or revoke access to any member who does not adhere to these guidelines. Violations of the rule prohibiting the forwarding of messages to non-members carry specific consequences. If a breach is determined to have been intentional, NCNA may remove the offending member from the discussion group and take additional corrective action as necessary.
