Council on Gerontological Nursing

Upcoming Council Meetings › Council Meeting Summaries ›

Gerontological nurses are located all over the state, and we work in a variety of clinical settings including long term care facilities, clinics, home health care, education, and administration.

Members of the Gerontological Nursing Council are leaders and advocates dedicated to elevating the standard of care for North Carolina’s aging population. We champion best practices in geriatrics, drive initiatives to prevent falls, promote healthy aging, and support evidence-based interventions that enhance both quality of care and quality of life.
